Life in Turkey is easy and inexpensive. The local Turkish people are very warm and hospitable. Over 300 days of sunshine, attractive beaches, exciting outdoor and entertaintment activites, winter sports, skiing, water sports ,mountain sports, attractive sight seeing, and historic places are some of appealing features of Turkey.

BEACHES
The Mediterranean coast is an attractive habitat with hundreds of sandy beaches hidden in extensions of magnificent Toros mountains, spectacular bays, which take your breath away, while walking through forests. History and sea are side by side here.
Most beaches, which are called aquarium, were awarded the blue flag environmental rewards. (The mediterranian flag number is sixty two this year.) Marmaris, Datça and Bodrum, which has underwater archeology museum, came first in the Egean coastal region.

SHOPPING
Turkey offers a wide range of shops and most villages have a bazzar (market) every Sunday with which you can buy anyhting from fresh local fruit to genuine leather handbags. You can find whatever you need in the shops here, and have a go at reducing the price as you can usually reduce the price by 30%. You can buy top brand products at approximately half price compared with the price in Europe (we would like to warn you about imitated products, which are quite similar to the original). Public markets for fresh fruit and vegetables are available once a week at each town. Bijouterie shops along streets offer you fashionable summer items.
