Originally known as Caunos and dating back to 3000BC, this ancient town is only 33 kms from Dalaman International Airport. Many ancient remains such as the Caunos gold coins and even odd artifacts from other civilizations can still be seen today.

This town which has lost none of its natural beauty, sits in the heart of a labyrinth-like delta, boasting an extensive stretching coastline which attracts people and caretta-carettas alike.
